Liquid, Grease & Hand Cleaner Line Personnel - 1st shift

Mon-Fri 6AM – 2PM

1st Shift - Monday-Friday 6am - 2pm

** Please be aware all production jobs are in the NON-climate controlled warehouse and require light lifting and standing for long periods of time on a busy production line. If you are looking for a job to sit around in air conditioning this is probably not a good fit for you. **

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION: Assembly of liquid containers, packaging of finished product and clean up.

SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES:

1) Review information on packaging ticket before starting of run.

2) Ensure boxes are assembled and labeled correctly and on line prior to start of production.

3) Ensure sufficient assembly components are on line and correct according to packaging ticket. (caps, sprayers, etc.)

4) Attend to quality control parameters (fill weights, coding, etc.)

5) Tighten caps with air caper.

6) If product is run through induction sealer, make sure proper sealing occurs.

7) Ensure container is clean and container printing has not been smeared by product or guide rails.

8) Ensure each box receives required amount of bottles.

9) Seal box with tape or staple and place on pallet by stacking pattern. Use proper lifting techniques.

10) Ensure batch code is placed on each box on correct side panel.

11) At end of production remove all excess boxes and caps that will not be used in next production run.

12) Between change over or tote change perform one of the following:

- Clean machine, mop or sweep floor, or assemble boxes upon the direction of machine operator, lead person, or supervisor.

13) Personal Protective Equipment requirements must be met.

14) Any other duties or projects which may be assigned by the Supervisor.

* Forklift Driver. Must receive training and be certified before operating a forklift. Re-certification is required every 3 years.


CLEAN UP AND END OF DAY INSPECTION:

1. At the end of each production day, an inspection should be made to assure area is organized and clean.

2. Make sure that all equipment (pumps, electric motor, etc.) have been shut off and nothing left running without monitoring.

3. Inspect floor area to make sure they are clean and free of chemical spills. Report any problem to the supervisor.

4. Remove any raw material (chemicals, boxes, etc.) that remains at the end of the day and return to proper storage.

5. Inspect for any unlabeled containers in the area or items not belonging in production area.

6. Return any portable equipment to proper storage.

7. Return all PPE equipment to storage cabinet in the area.
